Let it grow...

This past weekend has been a total blast!

On Thursday, Sarah and I got out of our music class a half-hour early (hallelujah!) and ordered pizza with some girls on our floor. We sat outside and had a pizza picnic. The weather was beautiful and it was the best way to relax after a busy day of classes.

On Friday, my only class for the day was cancelled! I had the day to myself!
Naturally, I was in the library from about 9-3.  I did, however, take a break for lunch with some of the kids in my geography class at the MOA café. The food was really good and it was fun to catch up. That night, Sarah and I went and played tennis with one of the kids from our ward. Sarah had never played before, but she got the hang of it eventually and loved watching me and Dallin play a pretty intense game. It was super fun! Then we went and got ice cream with a girl on our floor (where the workers asked me and Sarah if we were twins…) and hung out in our dorm.
Dallin, me, and Sarah playing tennis!

As for today, we begrudgingly woke up around 8:15 AM. I spent the morning in the library. After tons of planning, we decided to get a group together to go to the dollar theater that evening and watch the Lorax. That awkward moment when you only have one tiny car for 8 people… after two car trips, we all made it to the theater. The Lorax was actually really cute. But the best part was definitely the music! :) “Let it growwww….”

We then went and got some ice cream, which was divine.

Sarah and I took the first group back to the dorms and had some…interesting…encounters on the way back for the second group.

We found them sitting at Coldstone playing Uno. Naturally, we joined in. After tons of rounds of crazy Uno (which is just as the name suggests… can you say INTENSE?) we went back for the night. Now Sarah and I are going to watch the new episode of Jane by Design… so excited!

Can I just say how much I love BYU? I am so incredibly blessed to be out here! The campus is beautiful and everywhere I go I feel such a great spirit. I know that this is exactly where I am supposed to be right now and feel so fortunate. This is home. :)

Hakuna matata!
